Without following SEO rules you won’t get traffic from search engines

Unfortunately these SEO principles are not static and always changing

But there are basic and static principles to follow

And that’s what we are covering below

    Make a Pre-launch email list

When we talk about a useful startup growth technique

Email marketing stays on the top

It is effective in finding conversations and leads

Set your focus on creating an email list as SEO principle

It will let you reach your target audience and transmit your message effectively

Besides, email marketing vastly helps businesses to create pre-launch publicity for any event or product

Also, it will let you gain potential consumers even before launching

Though, you should not just make a list of email addresses and relax

You need to take a few weeks to create the hype

And make an effort to make your target audience excited for your launch

    Design A Mobile-responsive Website

Recently, there has been a considerable rise in the number of searches that derive from mobile devices

The prime reason for this is a boost in the number of mobile phones and vaster availability of the internet all around the globe

Furthermore, due to the greater usage of mobile phones, traffic developed from tablets and smartphones is enhancing

Therefore, it’s important to make a website that has a mobile-responsive layout and can modify to any screen size

It is the main principles for SEO and social media growth hacking strategy

If you are an entrepreneur and own a small business, follow the tips below to make your site mobile-responsive:

1- Be sure to create legible, cohesive, and related content

2- Assure that you optimize your graphics so that they don’t take much time to load

3- Always be sure to make vertical page designs rather than horizontal or static pages

4- Use touch-friendly navigation tools and buttons

5- Always add up social sharing buttons in your content

It will make it simple for your visitors to share your content on their social media accounts

Post Evergreen Content & Update Old One’s

If you haven’t noticed yet, content is king in SEO

Therefore, you better count on posting evergreen content

Also, you should add pieces of information that would be beneficial

Also related to 2021 and beyond

Furthermore, updating your old content to adjust the users’ search intent will help you convert them into evergreen content

below are the SEO principles of making evergreen content for your website:

    Thorough how-to guides

Case studies related to your services or products

    Product reviews from real clients

    List-based article posts

    Tutorial series

Interviews with the professionals of the industry

Post Blog Posts with Long-tail Keywords

Long-tail keywords comprise three or four words which result in search terms that are very particular to what you are selling

These words can be question-based searches that your audience is using

When your ideal clients are typing highly-precise long-tail keywords

They most probably know what they are going to purchase

Therefore, posting content with long-tail keywords can assist you to get that deal

Rather than letting it drop to your competitors

Perform Constant A/B Testing for SEO and social media

    Experts recommend testing everything

Though, you should begin with the most conversion-heavy places of your website:

    1- Homepage

    2- Ends of blog posts

    3- Contact page

    4- Landing pages

    5- Sales pages

You need to focus on one area of every page at a time

In this way, you don’t misrepresent your results

If you alter more than one variable, you won’t understand which influenced the outcome

    Social Proof

Also one of the principles of SEO is to increase both backlinks and social shares

You can do that by making relationships with the right people

Credibility nowadays is measured in a manner that has no example in history

People share blogs without even reading them and content with a good number of shares often seems like it’s secure to be shared more

SEO and social media can be more impactful together

We assume search results are the best for answers to the questions we type in and gladly ignore that informative and useful articles don’t often rank high on Google

It proves that link building is, more and more, about connection building

    Topical Relevance

It is beneficial to concentrate carefully on a chosen area of expertise

Being influential or famous today is a way better deal than that in the past

Today, you can create clout way quicker by concentrating on a niche and being online

No matter if you focus on opinionated artistic expression for social media or how-to blogging for SEO, concentrating on a limited audience will get you a long way, faster

    Crowdsourcing Your Marketing

Crowdsource you’re marketing by giving value to those who have big and related audiences

Nowadays, marketing is based on transparency which is way better for all groups involved

Be a big brand that gives value people like to talk about and you’ll get recognition consistently

Furthermore, give in some control over what specifically people say about you

Then, reward those who provoke conversations for you

A very good example of this is Facebook

They receive free disclosure for their logos not only during the Super Bowl

But also over vast non-Facebook social footers and timelines of all high-traffic websites

If you own a smaller business, build something valuable and timely to your niche

You may also opt to list your business on well-reputed directories such as Yelp, Manta and CityLocal Pro

Alternatively, simply be a moderator, and be sure your locality gets value in the platform you created

    Conclusion

In summary, you need to understand your target audience when it comes to the perfect social media and principles for SEO

Moreover, you should be unique with your content marketing

While performing SEO and social media tasks

Share fascinating and high-quality content and build amazing social media ads

    Make relationships with other brands

Do everything mentioned in this article and you will win at your work

Hopefully, the growth hack techniques mentioned in this article will be beneficial for your business

  • The Ultimate Guide to Link Building Techniques the Right Way

Before talking about link building techniques, I have a personal story i would like to share it with you

Back In 2001, I joined a network marketing company with a multi level marketing

For those who don’t understand what is multi level

I will explain it briefly, it is earning commission percentages based on the level of your downlines

There are few affiliate links, if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission at no extra cost to you

For example, if you recruit someone directly under you

The network marketing company pays you back let’s say 25% commission on all sales

If this someone recruits another person you earn additional 15% up to few levels decided by the company

One day my best friend asked me to give presentation to someone he knew

I have to admit I met a guy with no flair

I was not making any money from this network marketing company

Then I discovered later that I accumulated $14k just from getting this person recruited

Anyway I shared this story as it reminds me with link building

When you get a link from a site that has good traffic, you definitely get a share of the pie

Let me start by asking you

    Contents show

Why link building techniques are crucial for your blog?

Simple answer is using link building techniques help you get traffic from those visitors who visits other websites to click on the links there on these websites

Where they come and visit your blog

It has to be done correctly and not any kind of random links

At the same time, if a link is kind of never seen link like a profile link on high domain authority DA site – DA is explained below – it will help Google and search engines to consider ranking your website for some keywords

Bbuilding the right back links on relevant websites with high DA will help you

Both your ranking and getting visitors to your blogs from other websites

Link building techniques are tasks to start from day one

When building your blog even if you don’t have any published blog posts

I spent a year focused on writing ultimate guides and over killing any topic I was writing about

Link building was a deferred plan for me

Because I couldn’t focus on link building and writing my first bulk of thorough contents

What was the result after one year?

Unfortunately no single trace of Google in the first 100 positions

Not even showing up with my domain name if I write the domain words with spaces e.g. “Do Your Blog With Me”

That’s why I decided to switch my focus to 90% link building activities and 10% writing contents distributed between my blog and other blogs as guest posting

I also decided to write this post for myself first to come to it every now and then

Also for others to benefit from

So let me begin my link building guide with

    1) What is link building

Link building is the art associated with hard effort from your side

Acquiring links from other websites, preferably relevant websites to link back to your blog or website

Google will start seeing your link building strategies and do two things for you

They start detecting these backlinks and so increasing your DA as known as Domain Authority

Then they start to rank some of your keywords

I believe getting them in the 100 positions I considered it a kind of ranking

Without link building all your hard effort of writing great contents stays in vain

Remember you are using this link building technique to get traffic

What if Google does not detect these backlinks and reassess your blog or website

You still get traffic from visitors clicking on any backlinks that leads to your homepage or other pages in your blog

    2) What are the different types of links

Although there are different types of links

Inbound links is the primary factor for search engines to rank websites, this is what we should focus all of our energy

Outbound and internal links help also in an indirect way but not as inbound links

You will understand below just keep going on

    Inbound links

Also known as backlinks, any link pointing to your website or blog

if I click on this link, it should take you to your website whatever if it is the parent domain or any sub pages

This means if your full website name is listed as text on any other websites

It is not counted as a link

Now there are 2 factors that can make any link a great link

First factor is the link attribute where we have 2 types

Do Follow link where any search engine indexing your page detects your links to other websites and follow them to your websites

No Follow link while it is counted as a link in search engines’ eyes but Do Follow is better than the No Follow one

When you first start the backlinking process

It is very easy to do what is known in life as scratch my back and I will scratch yours and on internet it is similar you find someone with relevant website to link to you and you link to himfor straight forward link exchange similar to

Although you may have heard before that search engines don’t count those links but this is a myth

I was able to move my DA from 2 to 6 just by exchanging links

Keep in mind when you exchange links

There will be always someone who is going to benefit more than the other one but how?

When you do link exchange someone would have a DA higher either you or your partner

I don’t reject any links exchange even if I am having my DA higher than my partner who knows may be it will switch one day and he/she passes my DA

    Outbound links

This is controversial discussion that the more you link to other websites the more search engines Google in particular starts to outrank your website

The right sentence is if you link to many spam or thin websites websites that don’t have any content or full of gibberish contents

Now outbound links are really useful if you add links to complete your article or add a credit to your page like statistics site or Wikipedia

That’s why I want you to be very careful when doing link exchange and make sure you exchange links with valuable websites that complete your portfolio

    Internal links

I used to think that Internal links are useless but then I realized if you practice linking to your other pages within your blog, you will benefit from 2 things

First, you will help Google index all your pages even if Google is on top of that but linking old indexed page to a new one will help Google discovers it faster

Second, any visitors coming to your website you need to keep them longer by linking to relevant and similar topics to what they are reading

    3) Are all links equal in value

I am referring here to the outbound links as it does not make sense to discuss inbound links here

Bottom line here not all links are equal

There is something Google invented long time ago called Page Rank as known as PR where every page on the internet gets a score from 0 to 100 based on how many pages linking to this particular page, hence the more votes the more your page will rise in PR what affects the PR score includes the following

    Rules for link building techniques

    • Each PR value pointing to your page as if we have 2 similar pages on 2 different websites one of them has a PR of 50 pointing to it while the other page has a PR of 20 pointing to it, this means first page wins
    • Where the link pointing to your page is coming from, a link in the main content is better than a link on the side bar, header or footer, again a link on the first paragraph is better than in the middle or lower part of the content
    • Links with relevant anchor text has more value than vague links
    • Links from unique domains are better than the same amount of links from one or two domains e.g. 50 links from 50 domains are better than 50 links coming from 2 to 3 domains
    • Links from relevant pages is better than links from irrelevant pages e.g. a link from fitness site pointing to weight loss site is way better than a link from blogging site pointing to a weight loss site
    • Links from frequently updated pages are better than links coming from staled pages
    • Link coming from steady rate of growth page – meaning a page growing in number of links pointing to it is way better than a link coming from steady page
    • A Link from spam sites or low quality links is devalued in Google’s eyes
    • Same thing if a page is pointing to a spam site will have less value than a page that does not
    • If a page is pointing to authoritative site it will have more value than similar page that does not
    • NoFollow links have less value than DoFollow ones

    4) Link building strategy

Guest posts, Guest posts, Guest posts

I am not repeating the word guest posts by mistake, If I could stress 100th times of how important guest posts to get traffic to your blog

I would even say it is more important than Pinterest, because Pinterest is like a very beautiful stunning woman that decides to accompany you for few days so all doors will be opened to you

Guest posts are like your dad who encourages you to get a university degree

If you do so, you have a very high solid chance to succeed

In other word, guest posts is systematic gradual increase of your website traffic, the more you do guest posts the more your traffic will increase

First you get a link from a high DA site which is good for search engines rankings and second you get some of the traffic coming to this blog

Here are the best ways to find Guest posting opportunities

Search the internet for websites accepting Guest posts

Very easy step, let’s say you want to find blogs to write guest posts for them on saving money niche

You open Google and replace keyword below with save money

keyword “submit a guest post” keyword “guest post” keyword “guest blogger” keyword “guest post by” keyword “accepting guest posts” keyword “guest post guidelines” keyword “writers needed” keyword “blog for us” keyword “write for us”

Lots of opportunities on Facebook groups dedicated to link building

Nothing is better than asking for guest posting on other members’ blogs or even ask for links exchange, a direct link exchange like you link to my blog and I link to yours

I found these Facebook groups below to be top best for guest posting and links exchange

    Backlink exchange group

    Backlink Exchange Group

    Backlink,Local citation, Guest post service

    Backlinks and collaborations

    Backlink/Article Writing/Guest Posting Services

Free Links Exchange, Guest Posts, Backlinks

Link Exchange – Guest Post Requests, Blogs, Backlinks, Share For Share

    SEO Backlink Marketplace

Organic Website Traffic Exchange and Backlinks

    SEO BACKLINKS

    Top Backlinks Website List

SEO, Guest Post, SEO Backlinks & PBN Marketplace

Ask politely to exchange links with other websites

Use the Facebook groups provided above

I say politely because I got some websites with higher DA to agree to link to my blog

Then I told them that I would really appreciate exchanging links and I am working on my blog to raise my DA

I state this fact to them who knows maybe one day my DA can pass their websites

Search for broken links for blogs you follow

First you cannot do it manually, there is an extension called Check My Links on Chrome browser

Go to Google and type “Check my links chrome browser” then go ahead and add it to your Chrome

After you find a missing link check to see if you can find a replacement on your site to compensate the broken link for the blog you follow

Then email the blog owner and let him/her know about what you discovered on his/her blog

There is no guarantee that you can get your suggested link added so I don’t invest time writing this missing component if it is missing, I can find any other broken links on his/her blog and if I can only find one link to point to my blog, may be I can get a link back to my blog

Use your infographics passion to get backlinks to your blog

The good thing about this trick is that there are so many blogs with ultimate guide that it would make them better if you create infographics to illustrate the steps listed there

You can try multiple sites with similar contents and see if you have a chance of any blogger who can use your infographics which you created

All they need to do are just a backlinks giving you credits to your website

It would be better to have your infographics hosted on your web hosting and they link back to your infographics because you don’t even ask for the credit if they link to you then a backlink to your blog is counted

Write missing content for bloggers if not for them then It is on your blog

This link building technique method only works out if you are in the mind set of building backlinks

first I will explain it, you visit a blog and read a blog post where you easily spot out something that would make it perfect if it gets added to it

For example, you read the ultimate guide to affiliate marketing you notice that this content is missing best ways to find affiliate marketing programs to join

You can start writing it for your blog and offer it to this earlier blog owner, make it a thorough guide that he/she cannot resist but to add it

If not, search for all affiliate marketing articles on other blogs and do the same thing

Remember you have a new content on your blog, you can use this method as a way to find content to write on your blog

    Spy on your competitors

This is a very systematic and traditional link building techniques

Where I find this one to be the most effective method

Because if you search a blog similar to yours

You can find a lot of guest post opportunities you are not aware of

You can find a high DA websites accepting guest posts whom are not picky so you can add them to your list

If you think it is a lot of work, think about it the other way around

You can spend 5 to 10 hours on each guest post only to find that it is rejected

Why don’t you examine the quality of your competitors’ blogs guest posts

See if you can work on these high DA sites to submit easy guest posts that get accepted

I find a cheap tool called Keysearch it uses Moz in its backend

Write a round posts or testimonials

Once in a life time on your blog

It doesn’t hurt if you write a long round post for all bloggers in your niche and mention their names and write a detailed descriptions about them

Reach out to them on social media

I prefer Twitter, don’t expect to link back to you but at least they can tweet your post to their followers

HARO – Help A Reporter Out

This is a website called helpareporter.com, I had to list it as a unique way to get backlinks if you manage to do it on time and by following HARO guideline accurately

HARO is an online service for Journalists to collect feedback from bloggers or public

You can sign up for free and you will receive 3 emails per day at 5:35 AM, 12:35 PM and 5:35 PM in EST time from Monday to Friday

You get 3 long emails daily categorized under Biotech and Healthcare, Business and Finance, Education, Entertainment and Media, High Tech, Lifestyle and General

Below is a sample of 3 of the above categories to show you how they look like in emails

All the above are the list of all requirements from Journalists or bloggers who are looking to feature a round ups

I believe when you click on any of the hyperlinks above, it should take you to the requirements but for some reasons it doesn’t work from Gmail on cell phone

Below is a sample of one of the requirements, you have to check what suits you and look for the due date so you don’t submit late

    Donate to get a link

This is one of the best link building techniques that turned out to be a very well known method

It is my fault that I did not know about it

You can start with the below searches on Google

You can easily find other blogs compiling a list of charitable websites that provide a Do Follow links to your blog for reasonable donations

    • “Donation list” + “contributors”
    • “Contributors page” + “Donate”
    • “donate to us”
    • “donate to this site”

Final thoughts on link building process

You want traffic like 500 to 1,000 or more visitors a day, it comes with an effort

You have to keep the link building techniques as an ongoing process

Don’t think that right great content is enough to get visitors to your website

If you don’t reach out to those type of visitors on social media and to target SEO by using low competitive keywords on search engines then unfortunately your blog will stay buried on internet

If you like it please share it with your friends by clicking on the social media icons to the left or mobile

  • How To Find The Best Suitable Blogging Course Right Now

    You buy a blogging course
After you try blogging on your own with no success

Unfortunately you and me buy any blogging course
Based on the sales page or number of positive reviews
Usually all positive reviews are affiliate
Who wrote their good reviews for the sake of commissions
Some of them they even haven’t tried the blogging course itself

I will talk here about finding best blogging course

    Contents show

Why all blogging courses fail to deliver what they promise

Because blogging itself is a complete set of
Behavior, knowledge, persistence and continuous support
Early when bloggers started to build courses on blogging

There are few affiliate links, if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission at no extra cost to you

They covered in their blogging courses
    The behavior part
Which is the mindset and discipline like
Finding the reason why you want to blog?
Is it for Passion or money?
As you have to stay motivated
Since blogging is a long process
You have to be very patient

    Then they taught the knowledge
Which covers how to find your web hosting?
What are the steps to build your blog on WordPress?
How to install and configure your theme and plugins?
What are all the methods to start monetizing your blog?
    How to write your contents?
Do you know ways to drive traffic?
    What about doing SEO properly?
    On-page SEO and off-page SEO
    That’s it

What happens after buying any blogging course?

You buy it and start studying then
You get hundreds of blogging questions
    Popping up in your head

You think you need to attend a blogging workshop
To cover your design needs because
If it is recommended to use a specific WordPress theme
Everybody can still configure it according to his/her own specific criteria and need

What you think about what all blogging courses cover?

Is that enough in any course on blogging?

No you still need a mentor to help you
    To stay motivated and persistent
And also provide you support till you make it online

To recap it, the ideal blogging course that guarantees your success
It should be an online blogging course
Where you read the material online
You can download it offline to read it on the go
It should be updated when new factors come into play
    Like new Google update algorithm
As it does not make sense
You keep optimizing your blog with an outdated SEO Technique

It should cover the behavior and knowledge
When accessing the training materials online
Then when it comes to persistence and support
You should be able to access a forum
Preferably on a mobile app like Slack
Where you meet with all members
You help each other and then
Your mentor or owner of the blogging course online
Comes in the right time to settle the battle for any debates

My personal experience about my own blogging course

Anyway this is my own personal experience
I joined in March 2019 what I consider
    The best blogging course ever
I will tell you why shortly

First it is called Dare To Conquer by Paul Scrivs
I liked this guy when I joined his blogging bootcamp email list
I kept resisting not joining his program
Because I always believed all gurus put your expectation in the sky
    They play with your curiosity
    They write professional sales pages
Only to find that their products cover the mindset and blogging knowledge

With Dare To Conquer as known as DTC (merged into BSF)
You get Scrivs brain into new blogging experiments
You get a highly motivated group of bloggers on mobile app called Slack
They are committed to help each other

When I first joined it was DTC only (merged into BSF)
Now there is also Blogging Simple Framework as known as BSF

What are DTC and BSF about?
Because I see Scrivs as the blogger genius of 21 century
He managed to build more than 15 blogs in different niches
Testing things on multiple platforms or tools Like Pinterest, YouTube, SEO and content creation

Scrivs realized that bloggers need to
Adapt one or both of these mindsets

First mindset in the DTC program

Which relies on investing in your Audience
He teaches you how to think about your Audience
From the external side like the challenges they are facing
To the internal side like their fears and concerns and
    Finally from the philosophical side

For example if you are targeting your audience on
How to save for your children’s universities
Your audience external problem can be that
They work for less paying jobs

Your audience internal problem can be that
They don’t feel confident to cut some expenses
    They barely make ends meet
From Philosophical side they believe that
Universities are only for rich parents

First mindset teaches you How to build a brand
Focus on your hero as your hero needs a guide
You are their guide and you are able to do the transformation
To transform your audience from the initial state to your state
Your audience will be exactly like you

Second mindset is the BSF program

Which relies in investing in the traffic game
The more traffic you get the more revenue you generate
It is a number game and so
It teaches you the mindset of
Turning a new blog to make $1,000 in 6 months period
You main focus is on writing contents that bring traffic
    Through SEO and Pinterest

Although some blogging courses are common
Between DTC and BSF like SEO and Pinterest
But the overall courses in each program are framed either for building brand or traffic

Finally make up your mind by joining his mailing list
You can judge the quality of his emails by yourself
It is a pure indication of what you will get
I was very skeptical until I knocked down
My fears and joined his courses

I have to admit it never crossed my mind
That I would invest $599 in any blogging membership course
I like this guy he is a legend

If you think I guided you to find your blogging course
    Then remember sharing is caring
Please share it with your friends using social media to the left or bottom (mobile)

Who really faced all blogging challenges
They were able to make online
Keep track of these female bloggers to follow
Their social media profiles and their blogs

I sorted these best blogs for women
    By Domain Authority – DA

    If you are not aware
    What is DA?
    It is SEO score indicating
How well a website will rank on search engines

    Contents show

    Making Sense of Cents

    DA is 59
Michelle made $100,324 in June 2018
She claims that she reached 1,000,000 pageviews

    Michelle’s design is very simple
    Homepage has clear images to
    Help navigate through her blog

All blog posts have right margin
    The right margin lists also
Clear images to take you to
    Money making blog posts topics
Like How to start a blog,
    Learn Affiliate Marketing

    Michelle is considered a miracle
She is one of the best female bloggers in history

    Heidi Cohen

    DA is 59
Heidi has a very simple design
My first impression about her blog
I feel that she is using free template

When I went to the footer
I found her website is designed by someone
    Then I visited his website

    This guy is using Wordress
Heidi’s design is similar to his
It looks like he doesn’t change his theme

I clicked on Heidi’s links on the footer section
She is not masking her affiliate links
    I got the impression that
You can still make money online from your blog
Even if you are not aware of
    Everything in internet marketing

May be Heidi is focused on building content
But it is very obvious that she lacks
    Knowledge about basic things

    Amy Porterfield

    DA is 57
    Amy’s design is very impressive
    You envy her wishing
You can build something like this
Her design I consider to be one of the best
Compared to all other women bloggers
    A laser focused driving force
As if it tells you what to do

You see enticing images with yellow buttons
You read the text and if you click on
    Let’s the top image
It will take you to the section below

Every section has email list to join
I believe she has 2 or 3 sections
They are attached to a lead magnets

I asked myself where is her blog
So I scrolled to the bottom of her homepage
It takes you to the get ready section
    It has 3 yellow buttons
    Labelled “View Collection”
It will take you to a landing page
With lead magnet on top and
All her blog posts covering this topic

    Amy Lynn Andrews

    DA is 52
    Her design looks simple
    But it is very deep
    I believe she intentionally
    Made it that simple
So as not to distract users

When you land on her homepage
    You read her story
It is not a long one
At the end of the page
You cannot resist but to click on Next
This is where she takes you to
How to start building your blog

If it happens that you join Amy’s newsletter
It is a weekly newsletter filled with
Wonderful tips that really makes you think
How she thought about these things

    Laura Yates

    DA is 52
    This design I call it
    The white design
Everything is simple on white background
    But very well organized menu

    I really don’t know
    How Laura managed to
    Get this domain name
    She must be very lucky

Anyway if you click on her menu
    You will get expandable menu
Which covers very tight relevant topics
She is covering a complete list of
All competitive products in certain domain
For example, in web hosting and email marketing
Laura is covering almost all competitors

    Lisa Irby

    DA is 51
Lisa has a blog that uses a number in the domain name
It is called 2 create a website
    Simple design but very effective
Blog is focused on all details
    For creating WordPress blog

Lisa uses margins on both side
She is covering lot of topics on WordPress

    Ana Hoffman

    DA is 49
    Ana has very impressive blog
This is one of the best women bloggers after Michelle – Making sense of cents
Her design reminds me with Amy Porterfield above
the homepage is full size page
    Asking to join her newsletter

    If you scroll down
You see a link to take you to her blog
Ana specializes in the traffic niche
    Although getting traffic to website
It is not a niche but she managed to cover
    Everything related to traffic
That’s no wonder why her blog is called
    Traffic Generation Cafe

    Ileane Smith

    DA is 47
    Ilene’s design looks very simple
But I believe she managed to use
Top tiny banner to add her social media profiles

Also advertising for one of her YouTube videos
She is properly using the right margin
    Also very simple domain name
It is called Basic Blog Tips

Sue Dunlevie – looks like it was sold

    DA is 45
Sue’s design is simple white background
    Similar to Laura Yates (Blogging.com)
She provides tons of information in any blog posts
Also I noticed that she is not using margins at all

Homepage has effective words acting like
A lead magnet to her newsletter

    Ali Luke

    DA is 45
    Ali has organized design
Above the fold is background screen
With a button taking you to her blog
I believe she is not stressing on her newsletter
You have to scroll down to find it

The design layout is simple and attractive
I would say it will be better
If she can shrink the Welcome part or
Totally remove it or put it on the background image

    Kim Roach

    DA is 41
Kim is considered one of the newsletter
Which I joined some time ago
    Kim’s newsletter is friendly tone
I was thinking how she advertises in her emails
She is very smart and she rarely promotes

Kim is using a narrow middle layout
    She is not using margins
    Her design is very simple
Compared to all other women bloggers

    Lynn Terry

    DA is 41
First impression I got is that
    This is a cluttered blog
    But after few seconds
    It is very well organized
Lynn is using videos a lot in her blog posts

    Lauren and Alex

    DA is 38
    Lauren is sharing her success
    With her partner Alex
    They are having multiple sites
The About us page is very long
Their story covers personal and business career
    How they started blogging and
    Where they are now

The landing homepage is very attractive
    Animated video in the background
    Blog is loading fast
I believe they have a big freelance team
    Working on their blogs

    Lizelle van Vuuren

    DA is 37
Lizelle’s design is very focused on
    Selling Memberships for events called
Women who startup and to learn more and
Watch the events online you have to join as a member

    Actually very smart idea
You feel it is a real business
Backed up by a blog to promote it

    Jane Sheeba

    DA is 36
    A blog after her name
    Focused design as
Jane does not want to distract you
She is using narrow middle layout with no margins

These are the top blogs for women
    Based on my personal opinion
Actually you cannot sort them as
    Top female bloggers are uncountable

Finally I covered few blog created by Women bloggers
If you think I missed significant women blogs
Tell me about them in the comment area
    I will consider adding them

    Sharing is caring
Please share this with your friends using social media buttons to the left hand side or below (mobile)

  • Why Amateur Bloggers Should Avoid These 24 Mistakes

If you are amateur bloggers like me
You build your amateur blog when you have time

There are few affiliate links, if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission at no extra cost to you

Blogging part time makes your progress challenging
Because blogging is a very slow game
It takes hundreds of hours till
You start seeing light at the end of the tunnel

Please don’t make it worth by doing
These 24 blogging mistakes listed below
    So let me begin with

    Contents show

    1) Avoid free blogging platforms

You are building a successful blog
I assume this is your plan from day one
So avoid building your blog on free platform
You want to be in control of your blog
Using free platforms have all kind of limitations
    You are sacrificing your success
Even if you manage to move your blog
You will lose all your traffic

Why? because all the backlinks built overtime
They will be pointing to your existing old platform
This mistake happened to amateur blogger I know well
He built his blog on blogger.com
He was not planning that one day
    His blog will get momentum
He could not move and so he gave up

    2) Avoid cheap web hosting

Similar to using free blogging platform
Using also cheap web hosting to minimize your costs
Keep in mind that part of your blogging success
    Relies on

I recommend Siteground, If you find it expensive
Then Bluehost is the second best web hosting you should consider

Right now search engines have loading page speed
As one of the criteria they rank websites for
So not only you should rank for good contents based on
Targeted keywords and proper SEO but also
Page load speed comes into play as a ranking factor

    3) Avoid gaps in writing your blog contents

    Search engines especially Google
    They have something called Googlebot
Also known as spider, robot or bot
They are used to discover newly created pages to build their index
It also creates a pattern of when it should visit
Your website for the next time to fetch new pages
It detects the best interval to expect new content
Based on how often you write new content

If you write a new content every week and then slow down to every month
Then it will visit you every month
That’s why you have to be consistent with your content creation
Make a plan and stick to it

    4) Avoid being obsessive about layout and design

I don’t mean to go with a crappy free theme
I mean you are one of the amateur bloggers
You and me have limited time
Sometimes we work around 4 hours per week
We have full time work and family to take care of

If let me say 4 hours is what we have per week
Then you should invest 3.5 hours writing content
Half an hour for all the rest
I spent 2 months when I first started my blog
Just to change themes and see what looks appealing to me

Save yourself that time and choose between
These 2 theme companies, they are the best in terms of
    Simplicity, functionality and Support
I recommend you use either StudioPress or GeneratePress

    5) Avoid not investing in proper tools or unnecessary spending

    Reliable Web hosting

I know when you are starting your blog
You are not sure when you will make money
Even if you have a plan
You are not confident it is going to happen

That’s why it is very wise to invert in proper tools
    Also cut unnecessary spending
Investing in your web hosting should be
    Your number one priority

You need a reliable fast and secure web hosting
I recommend you choose between Siteground or BlueHost

    Email Marketing Tool

Next priority for you is to invest in email marketing tool
    As known as Autoresponder
Actually you don’t have to spend money
I will explain it to you
    I recommend you use MailerLite
You don’t have to pay for the first 1,000 subscribers
    Or the first 12,000 emails

This means if you have your first 1,000 subscribers
You can only send them 12 emails per month
    I divided the 12,000 over 1,000 so
Each subscriber can receive 12 emails per month
Not bad as a start up plan

    Social Media automation tool

I don’t recommend using social media scheduling tool for the first year
Why? because when you start blogging
You will have few blog posts
Wait till you have 50+ blog posts to share and build momentum

    Keyword research tool

I highly recommend using Keyword research tool from day one
This is the only way you can build a significant traffic through SEO
Without it you act as you’re shooting in the dark

Why? because when you start blogging
If you consider writing your first blog posts
You need to consider targeting low competitive keywords

You can never get it accurately
    By using Adwords keyword planner
Also you don’t want to spend much money using Moz or Ahref
They will make a hole in your pocket

    I recommend you use Keysearch
I personally use it and I love it
Actually It took me time to find it

I provide a sign up link below for a permanent 30% discount on your monthly payment

==> Link to Keysearch 30% off discounted price <==

I personally use the Starter plan
    I pay around 11$ monthly

Keysearch can list all the keywords with their competitions
I tend to find keywords which have competition score less than 40
Then I store these keywords in a folder called My List

Now I write my blog posts with my target keyword
    Sometimes I choose 2-3 keywords
But I target one keyword throughout my post
I use my keyword in the title
    Then on the first paragraph
During the middle and before the end

    I don’t stuff my keyword
Google is smart enough to understand your main keyword

    Keyword research Explorer

Also I realized a hidden treasure in Keysearch
I found a menu called Explorer
Go there and type any website
It will list all keywords they are using
Take these keywords, remove unnecessary ones

Go back to the Keyword research menu
    Then select keyword research
Then select import keywords from the dropdown menu
Beside the search button Then paste your keywords there

One day I found 30 hidden keywords just from one website
These keywords are not listed during your regular searches

You need a good number of low competitive and high search volume keywords
Go and save them to My List

Your task now is to start writing articles
Where you target one to 3 keywords
But one main keyword across your blog post

    Every blog post you complete
Choose one or two bookmarking sites and bookmark them
Then post it to your Facebook page
I recommend you build a Facebook page for each blog you own
Then add it to your rank tracking under Keysearch to monitor your ranking

Keep an eye on your domain authority (DA),
Page authority (PA) and domain score (DS)
At the beginning all values above will be zero
Domain authority is a search engine ranking score
it indicates how well any website will rank on search engines

The more you get your DA increased
The more you will get ranked for keywords you haven’t target your blog why
That’s why you see some competitive websites showing on Google first page
When you analyze the searched keyword
You may not find it matching exactly in Title

Be smart and target low competitive keywords with some search volume

    6) Avoid spending much time on social media

    Why I am saying that
    Read my logic here
If it does not resonate with you
    Don’t take my advise

Social media sites are all about booming articles
blog posts going crazy viral like fire in hay
You don’t know when it will happen

It can happen to you many times
But you cannot control it every time
To reach this high wave of traffic

Even if you get this much traffic
These visitors are not hanging on social media looking for a solution to their problems
They are just wasting time and having fun
Those are not targeted traffic like SEO

I am not saying to stop using social media
This is not what I meant
    I meant use it wisely

Social media can teach you one thing
Which blog posts go viral and analyze them
Find out why they are unique

Google gets smarter day after day
They never expect to get high number of backlinks
When you have only less than 20 posts

You don’t even trust the vendor site
Where you are buying your backlinks from

I recommend you just focus on building content
    Rather than building backlinks

Although backlinks act as a very major factor in ranking websites
Building it should come in a natural way

I recommend you comment on blogs
    Although they are NoFollow links
I found that blogs using CommentLuv
They list the recent blog post from your blog
This can lead to some traffic to your blog

    One more thing
There are some CommentLuv blogs that use DoFollow
You get some visitors plus a backlink to your blog

    8) Avoid Corporate tone

I always use “I Me Mine”
    Don’t make fun of yourself
    By acting in corporate tone

Like when visitors send you email
You reply back with something like
Our support department will get back to you within 48 hours
When they are really only you doing everything for your blog

People can really feel and tell
If you are one man show or not

    9) Avoid not linking to others

I used to think sometime ago that
Linking to other websites will drain your energy

You have to link to others to show friendship
You can tell these bloggers that you linked to them
They can link back to you
Although they say reciprocal links are not beneficial

Actually they are because at least they drive traffic
Reading moving from one blog to another

    10) Avoid not building email list

Although list building requires extra skills to learn
Like creating sales funnel so you give up building one

    let me tell you
    You are totally wrong
    Speak to your subscribers as
    Someone who is giving advise
    Recommending products without being salsy

Right now you can start building email list
    By using MailerLite
This free tool for up to 1,000 subscribers
You have nothing to lose here

    11) Avoid falling in rut

    It is inevitable feeling
    I know how you feel
It happened to me so many times

The only way to keep myself focused
I imagine a long term task
Something that contributes to my success
Like my blog will make a good money
When I complete 300 blog posts on targeted keywords
    Then after 5 completed posts

I remind myself that I am moving forward
I am close to my destination by 295 posts and so on

    12) Avoid not doing SEO

Don’t panic thinking that SEO is not for you
SEO is the only way to your success
    Believe it or not

You will get sustainable traffic by using SEO
Again it is not hard if you target low hanging fruits
As known as low competitive keywords

Doing SEO without keyword research tool is tough
That’s why I recommend using Keysearch

    Track your ranking too and
Don’t forget to use Webmaster and Google Analytics

    13) Avoid sharing only your blog posts

Build a network of good bloggers that
You can keep as your friends
You share their blog posts and
    They share yours

Not only you will help them but also
You will build your Facebook page quickly
Remember you cannot rely on submitting only
Your posts to your Facebook page
You need more articles to share

    14) Avoid choosing irrelevant domain name to your niche

Although this has low impact on your blogging success
You can still rank for keywords and
    Get traffic to your blog
    It is just something
You want your audience to relate
What is your blog all about

It doesn’t make sense to have a finance blog
    With a name like hirethegardener.com

    15) Avoid cluttering your blog with Ads

Nothing is wrong about monetizing your blog using Ads
    Just don’t overdo it
If you choose one Ad network then stick with it
For amateur bloggers don’t sign up for multiple Ad networks
Otherwise your blog with be full of Ads and
It will be hard to find your text

Your visitors will definitely not stay long
Especially if they are browsing from mobile

    16) Avoid using popups

    Popups can repel your visitors
Leave them with no option but to exit your page
Use it wisely like showing your Autoresponder after a minute or two
    test it carefully by yourself
Especially Most users use their mobiles to browse webs pages

Make sure to see if they have an option to close the popups
Otherwise they will be blocked by a modal popup
They will leave your web page

I remember I tried to kill a popup on a website
    I couldn’t so I left the page

    17) Avoid hiding your best contents

Give away the best knowledge in your blog
This will not keep you dry for any ideas in your products
If you plan to create one or more products
    You just reshape them
    Present them in more details

Your audience will judge you based on your content
    Don’t hold your best
That’s why it is called content marketing

    18) Avoid copying other bloggers

Actually I created a weight loss tips blog
    I was copying existing articles
Actually I felt dump but I had my excuse

I was totally ignorant in the topic I was writing about
As amateur bloggers always read more than you write
But when you write, come up with your own perception about the topic

For example, if you think blogging is tough
Say it and mention why you think this way
Don’t say what other bloggers say
If you don’t live it or feel it

    19) Avoid not doing keyword research

I spent a year writing epic blog posts
They are all based on competitive keywords
I thought writing good content was enough to get me ranked in Google

I realized best content based on competitive keywords are waste of time
Your blog should rise the ladder of success by targeting keywords that are low in competition

Lesson learned after wasting a year
Keyword research tool is a must from day one
    I recommend using Keysearch
It is affordable and it can spy on your competitors’ blogs
Also it tracks your ranking for your blog

    20) Avoid not knowing your audience

Think about your audience needs, wants and dreams
Think about their fears and concerns
You have certain knowledge in your niche
There are audience below and above your knowledge
For those who are below you
Talk to them to take them to your level

    21) Avoid missing Google Analytics

    Google Analytics will show you
A clear demographics on who reads your blog
    Their age, gender and locations

You can use that for your benefit
If majority of your audience are women between 30 and 50
Then you know that you have mothers
    Most of them with children

    22) Avoid not treating your blog as a business

    This can sound hypothetical
But any business needs a location
    This is your web hosting
    Secretary to call your clients
This is your email marketing tool

    Blogging is a business but
It is a slow picking up business
That’s because there are no assets and no investments
You cannot consider what you pay for
Web hosting and email marketing tool as an investment

    23) Avoid relying on one source of traffic

Although I am a big fan of SEO traffic as best source
But also I recommend not to rely on it as the single source of traffic
If you are building an authority site
You would get traffic from your network which you built over time

Also you get traffic from Pinterest
    You should use it
Also YouTube, if you are panic to show up on videos
Just screencast how to do things in your niche

    24) Avoid not setting priorities for your time

This is the most important thing
Your time should be distributed as 80% writing you content
    20% promoting that content

You need long time to get attention from Google
Show them that you are updating your blog frequently

I will say it one last time for amateur bloggers
Your whole blogging foundation is based on content, persistence and knowledge

  • How Much Do Bloggers Make Per Month

It is really a controversial topic
    How much do bloggers make?
Well It all depends on 3 factors
    Traffic, Knowledge and persistence

There are few affiliate links, if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission at no extra cost to you

    Persistence is the borderline between
Those who make living from their blogs and
The majority who don’t make any money or make few cents per day

    Contents show

Percentage of bloggers making money online

    According to Problogger survey
Bloggers shared their income for one month
Around 49% made around 100$ or less
    Around 23% made around 1000$
That’s around 3 quarter of all bloggers
    Around 26% made around 2500$
Again this can be good if you are blogging as a hobby
    Around 9% made around 15,000$

Credit for this survey image goes back to ProBlogger

Those who are the persistent bloggers
Who managed to continue doing the same steps
For a year or more without getting any income

It is so easy to advise bloggers to stay persistent
In fact, it is very tough to write a blog post daily or every other day
And keep doing that for 6 months
You see cents are coming in
Then you keep working without getting frustrated
Yes add more 6 months to a year

Remember It is adding time and hard effort
The more you get a break or vacation from your blog
The hard it will get to change your mindset that one day your blog will ever generate income for you

    But why is that?
Because our mind is wired to associate time with gain or benefit

Students who study in medicine universities
They know they will spend around 10 years of hard study
Then they will make a very lucrative income

There is no definition of hard work and duration in blogging
Plus there are a lot of hype around the blogging industry
That’s why all bloggers don’t believe
How hard is it to generate income from their blogs till they try blogging

How blogs generate online income for you?

A blog is a platform that can be monetized in multiple ways or methods
Any way of monetizing your blog depends upon
The traffic and knowledge mentioned above

I will keep the traffic steady for now and
I would say, the least knowledge it requires the least income it will generate

The more you add knowledge the more income you will generate

I will start with the least knowledge

    • Advertisement as known as Ads Network

You can sign up to Google Adsense
You will definitely get approved immediately
Google Adsense is an Ad Network
It will insert Ads inside your contents
In between the lines as text or image ad
You can place Ads in header, sidebars and footer

If any visitor clicks on any Ads
Google will pay you between 0.20 to 2$ or 3$
It all depends on the niche you are in

Google Adsense does not require a minimum monthly traffic volume
Some Ad Networks like Mediavine requires 25,000 visitors per month
While Adthrive requies 100,000 visitors per month

    • Display Ads by others for money

You can advertise that you accept Ads on your blog
Where you negotiate the price and charge a monthly flat rate

    • Affiliate marketing income

Affiliate marketing requires extra knowledge than Ads Network
    Remember as I said earlier
More knowledge then more income you can generate
Affiliate marketing is earning a commission
If visitors click on your affiliate links within your website and
Then they buy the products or services

Sky is the limit for the affiliate Commission
It can range from few dollars to hundreds of dollars

You have first to sign up as an affiliate for the product or service you want to promote
This can be directly on the vendor site or through an affiliate network

Below are best affiliate networks you can apply to

    Amazon
    MaxBounty
    Peerfly
    eBay
    ClickBank
    CJ
    ShareASale
    OfferVault
    JVZoo
    FlexOffers
    VigLink
    Rakuten
    Skim Links

Before signing up to any affiliate program You have to first learn how to evaluate any affiliate program

    • Courses income

    I mean here eCourses
Everybody wants to save time by shortcutting steps they need to learn
Instead of spending time to figure out
How to build your blog in WordPress
You can get a video course to show you
    How to do that

Almost all niches have courses teaching you how to do things

There are so many platforms that can make your life easy by hosting your courses there
    Something like Thinkific or Teachable
These require a monthly fee but there are free platform charging per flat commissions like JVZOO

    • Services income

Although there are bloggers that charge hundreds or thousands of dollars for services
Something like SEO or professional writings
This type of income can limit your ability
If you are working by yourself as you trade your time for money

    • Consulting income

Similar to the above but the work done can involve
Less time and effort but not necessarily less money

    • Sponsored content income

People will reach out to you to put their content in your blog

You have to be very careful as Google does not like it
You can be blacklisted by Google

    • eBook income

You can sell your own eBooks in your niche
    You sell your experience here
Some people buy these books after knowing
How great you manifested yourself in your niche

    How bloggers make money online?
    I believe in blogging industry
We have 2 types of bloggers

Few bloggers who are really talented
I would like to relate it to the term knowledgeable which I used earlier
While the rest are just using the traffic game

If you are of the second type
Your persistence will really help you
You have to keep your traffic steady and increasing but not decreasing

Those bloggers use their traffic to experiment what brings the highest income
Then they adapt and improve it

For example, displaying Ad network can compete with your affiliate marketing income

Also Ads can take your visitors away before they sign up to your newsletter

Always keep trying and see what works best for you

    How to guarantee blogging success?
You have to remember that gaining knowledge will take time
While building traffic to your blog requires persistence

When you first start your new blog
You are completely unknown to everyone especially Google

You have to stick to a long term plan and put 50 lines under long term plan

First start using a keyword search tool to find low competitive keywords

If you don’t want to spend much money in the beginning
Then Moz or Ahref will not be suitable for you

    I recommend you use Keysearch
I personally use it and I fell in love with it

If you sign up using this link below
You will get 30% discount on your monthly payment as long as you remain a member

==> Link to Keysearch 30% off discounted price <==

Keysearch comes with Starter and Pro plans
They are based on the number of credits you get daily

I personally use the Starter plan and you will be surprised
If I tell you that I pay around 11$ monthly
I get 200 credits, that’s more than enough for me
It is not accumulative and It gets reset daily

How does Keysearch help you get traffic to your blog?

Keysearch can list all the keywords with their competitions
When you are first starting your traffic journey
Always target keywords with competitions less than 40
Once you find these keywords store them in a folder called My List

You now have a bank of keywords to write blog posts about
    Don’t stuff your keywords everyone
Just list it in the title, at the beginning of first paragraph
In the middle and at the end of your blog post
The middle one depends on your blog post word counts
Anything over or around 1000 is OK to have your keyword in the middle

Keysearch Explorer menu the hidden treasure

I started using Keysearch and I found I ran out of keywords
Then I realized that it has a hidden treasure
There is something called Explorer menu
Just click on that and type websites for competitors
It will list all keywords they are using

I found more than 30 hidden keywords in one website
These keywords are not listed in the regular search for keywords
Take all keywords you want to investigate and go back to Keyword Research menu
Select the keyword Research and beside the search button
Select Import keyword List,, you will be able to paste the copied keywords
You will find good low competitive and high search volume keywords
Go and save them to My List

Keysearch and the secret of ranking

When you start writing articles about these keywords along with practicing link building by doing link exchange with bloggers and guest posting on other high DA blogs
Google will start ranking you at the beginning in the top 100 positions
Yes it is funny to be in position 90 or whatever

I know there is a very slim chance that people click page 2 on Google
But being persistent to target low competitive keywords as known as low hanging fruits and doing link building and guest posting together
You will start getting to page one for some of these keywords

Your task is to monitor your domain authority (DA),
Page authority (PA) and domain score (DS)
When you are starting your blog, all values above will be zero
Domain authority is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz
it indicates how well any website will rank on search engines

That’s why you can type a keyword in the search
You get the first top 3 or 5 searches with your keyword not listed
In title, listed in different order, with words in between or in plural form
This is because these websites have high domain authority and
It happened that they have pages targeting something similar to
What you tried to search for

By being smart and staying away from trouble
This is my expression for targeting low competitive keywords with some search volume
Slowly you will get an upgrade to a higher domain authority
Also you will start to get some increase in Page authority for some of your pages
Finally consider writing contents around low competitive keywords as number one focus for traffic on your blog

Second source of traffic is Pinterest

    If you don’t know Pinterest
It is a hybrid of social media and search engine mixed together
Pinterest uses images as known as pins to promote web pages
It does not work the same for all niches
You have to give it a try

Step 1 starts with creating a Pinterest profile

By adding a nice logo or picture of yourself
Add description of what you do or
    What you are interested in
    then list your blog URL

Step 2 is to focus on creating attractive pins

But what makes your Pinterest pins attractive?
Make sure your font is readable especially on mobile phones
Make sure the font colour contrast the background picture

Sometimes I put a rectangular or square shape over my background picture
I turn the opacity of this shape to 50%, I do that so I don’t completely block the portion of picture behind it
I want it to be semi transparent to show the picture in the background
Then I can write inside my shape with clear font colour
I test different font colours and use my best judgment

Step 3 is to always try to look for what people search for on Pinterest

Pinterest as a simple search engine
When you type something on Pinterest search box
You get a list of suggestions, it is called IntelliSense
Use these suggestions in your Pinterest title and description
Remember Pinterest will not be able to search for your text inside your pins
Pinterest can only search for text in titles and descriptions associated with any pins
Also use Pinterest hashtags 3 or 4 hashtags are enough

Step 4 is to invest in powerful and attractive headlines

These headlines that your readers see
They decide to either click or skip and scroll for other pins
Don’t deceive readers by promising something not in your blog post
You will lose them for the long term
Pinterest users knows the owner of any pin as Pinterest displays user’s profile below each of pin

Step 5 to implement is to look for Group boards

All Pinterest users can create personal boards to pin the pins you like on them
There are boards which you can share to other followers so they can pin also to them
These boards are now not personal and so they are called Group board

Try to join so many group boards
    Keep it a continuous task
These group boards are number one factor for brining traffic to your blog

Last step is to automate the process

You cannot dedicate an hour or two each day just for manual pinning
You will definitely lose time for other tasks
Remember again, number one priority is writing
Contents around your low competitive keywords

I found a solution to automate my Pinterest work
I use a well known tool called Tailwind
To automate submitting my pins to group boards

Always use Tailwind reports to see which group boards bring traffic to your blog
Get rid of those that don’t drive traffic or very little traffic

    Bonus thing to try

Use Tailwind to find the best pin or pins
That performed well to users engagements
Use Pinterest advertisement to drive traffic to this pin
Don’t promote products but use the best
Performing pin to drive traffic to your email list
Don’t use this method if you pin is performing well but
The page behind it does not keep users long enough on Google Analytics

    Third source of traffic

It is to invest your time in writing your eBooks
I know what you are thinking now

Creating your own product like courses, membership site or even eBooks
Not only it will increase your profit
But also it will increase your traffic

How? Because when creating a product
Think about being partner with other bloggers
They can promote your product through affiliate link
Offer them a lucrative commission up to 60% if it requires so

These bloggers will link to your sales page
This will increase your Page Authority (PA) as you get many domains
With different Domain Authority (DA) linking back to you

Also if you manage to create promotional materials like images
Your sellers can link to your images from their websites

You don’t have to worry about how can you handle the affiliate process
There are so many affiliate network sites
That can take care of the affiliate process between you and your sellers

Best example if you want to pay a fixed flat fee of 15$ then use SendOwl but

If you don’t want to pay monthly fees
You can share a 15% commission on each sale by using JVZOO

    Fourth source of traffic

It is by looking for other bloggers
Who are starting up or already making money from their blogs
You need to be motivated and motivate others

There are so many things you can do it together
You can do commenting on each other blogs
    They can promote your products
Also they can link to you

Actually cross linking to each other
Meaning you link to my blog and I link to yours
Even if it is not considered a true link from search engine perspective
But it is really very beneficial
Visitors will come to you through different links and so increasing your traffic

Finally I hope I helped you to realize how much do bloggers make and your potential success that awaits you,

  • How To Create A Blog With Great Writing Style

Do you want to start a successful blog then
You need a blog posts with great writing style

There are few affiliate links, if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission at no extra cost to you

Well in this blog post, I will take your hands to the right process
    That guarantees your blogging success
You can use it as a checklist
Every time you doubt if your blog is on the right track

    Let’s start with the following

    Contents show

    1) Write in the right profitable narrow niche

This is a 3 consolidated points together
    I will break it down
Right niche means the one you love
The one you always read about
With your passion that drives you crazy
    You keep thinking about it
Right niche if you are a beginner

But If you have built an existing profitable blogs
Where you know that blogging became a business
You can choose just profitable niche
You know the proper steps to build a great writing style blog
Drive traffic to it from 0 to 100,000

What I mean by profitable niche
A niche that has money to be made
Everyone wants to be healthy, wealthy and in good relationship
So the below list will satisfy that

    Niches to write about

    How to make money
    Health and Fitness
    Personal finance
    Beauty and fashion
    Relationships and personal development
Lifestyle (like survival, gardening, Women’s lifestyle..etc.)

    What I mean by narrow
When you start a new blog
You will be all by yourself
You will never be able to right in everything

Write in a very laser specific topic within your niche
For example Health and Fitness is a big niche
If you want to write in Fitness
    Wait and go more deeper
Under fitness, you have Weight loss
Wait and still do more deeper
Under weight loss, choose diet and
Under diet choose specific type of diet

    I would say Keto diet
Don’t write any articles about health and fitness in general
Why I am telling you that
Because if I visit your blog to read about
7 quick Keto diet recipes if you’re hungry

I will finish your blog post and
I will be interested to read more articles
    Talking about Keto diet
I come across this blog post
3 successful ways to help you quit smoking

I don’t smoke so I will end up leaving your blog
I realized that you don’t have enough to read in Keto
You don’t want this to happen

How to fix niches for your existing blog

What if you have an existing blog
Where you already wrote about different topics in a niche
    Assess your blog and check
What are the most articles covering one topic

If you are using WordPress for your blog
Create a category for each topic
Move each blog post to its category
Make sure each category is segregated
Also visitors will be able to find all blog posts under each topic easily

Also keeping it narrow will help you with
    A) Increasing your knowledge and keeping you focused as you try to find more things to provide for your audience

    B) Better monetizing for your blog especially if you are using Ads, this will help your Ad network finding relevant Ads to place

    C) keeping your audience interested as lifestyle and personal blogs attract only visitors per article
Once they finish reading the article
They don’t have any motive to stay

    D) Building a long term readers as you can manage to get them to subscribe to your newsletter

    2) Write based on choosing the right keywords for your niche

Although doing SEO ( Search Engine Optimization) looks hard
I would say it is the only viable way to make money online
Why? Because it will take you very long time to learn the art of sales funnel
Meaning internet marketer gurus rely on different methods to bring traffic to their website
To master these techniques it requires lot of reading and dedication to apply what you’ve learned

You got to learn the proper lead magnet to entice visitors to subscribe to your newsletter
Then starting the sales funnels emails
    Practicing the upsell and downsell
The perfect timing for limited time offer
Also adding bonuses to your products

Once you learn all these techniques
Using paid advertising like Facebook Ad or any other platform will be a number game
You pay n amount of $ and you make 2n or whatever as a profit

With SEO, you will turn your traffic into money by using Ads and affiliate marketing
This will happen by hunting for long tail keywords as known as low hanging fruits
The best tools which I use are Long Tail Pro (add link) and Keysearch

Target keywords with keyword competition less than
30 in Long Tail Pro and less than 40 in Keysearch
It will take sometime for Google to pick up your website
You have to be consistent in the writing interval
Don’t squeeze yourself for 2000 words if you are at 1500
Monitor your Domain Authority in Keysearch

    Don’t worry about building backlinks
Share your blog posts on social media sites, bookmarking sites and directory listings

    3) Don’t write your personal stories

Refrain yourself from writing about how was your day or
Fun situation happened to your cat or dog
Unless it is a personal blog
Think about how to write for a blog in a way
Where your audience knows a little about you
At the same time they read a lot about what they are interested in

    4) Write what your audience wants by using Google Analytics

You don’t write what you think is good
You write what Google Analytics tells you
But wait how would I know
Google Analytics has a traffic flow
Where it tells you how visitors react
    When they visit any page
You can also see a report for most visited pages
If it happens that the mostly visited page is
How to lose weight with Keto diet in 14 days
Then use it to write a detailed blog post
14 days detailed plan to losing weight using Keto diet

    5) Write email newsletter from day one

I know what you think to yourself
You think I don’t have much to say and
I am not sure how to keep my subscribers interested
Let me tell you that you learn from your fellow bloggers

    Join newsletter in your niche
Analyze their emails and come with something similar
Your target is to get some recurring visitors coming to your blog
Building an email list is an excellent way to generate income without relying on traffic

If you have a new blog post
Just broadcast it to your email list
It is a traffic on autopilot

I hope I covered how to add great writings to your blog

  • Can You Really Make Money Online? -Find Out The Answer Below

A question like “Can you really make money online?” or
    “Do bloggers make money online”
Is frequently asked from failed bloggers

There are few affiliate links, if you click a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission at no extra cost to you

First time bloggers don’t ask these questions
They start excited and full of enthusiasm
After a while trying they don’t see any success
They doubt the concept itself of making money online

They search online hoping to figure out what went wrong
Most probably they come across an internet marketer or guru
Promising to provide answer to this dilemma
    And so on

Can you really make money online

    In this blog post
I will provide you with honest answer to your frustration
I will not sell you anything or refer you to online blogging courses
If I do so you will not trust me
As I know you want a straightforward answer

Let’s dive right in to understand few concepts
Then I will link all concepts together to solve
The baffle for how you can make money online?

    Contents  show

    1) Why gigantic e-commerce companies like Amazon or eBay offer affiliate programs?

Don’t tell me that they need to make an extra profit
Everyone on earth knows Amazon and eBay
I buy from Amazon on a regular basis
OK so what is the issue here

I went on Google to search on how to find my key chain easily
I was looking for a solution for not remembering where I left my keys
Sure, I leave it in a designated place
But it can happen to leave it in different place
Also this applies to other personal things

I found an article talking about practicing ways to improve your memory
Then offering a product as a solution on Amazon
This product comes with a remote control that has 4 different color buttons and
4 same color stickers where each sticker is mapped to its same color button

Also you can write on each button on your remote control
So you can remember which button is mapped to each personal item

Why I mentioned the above product
Because Amazon and eBay have all products
You can think of from needle to rocket
All products are there to solve problems

Because people are always asking questions on Google
That is the main core purpose for the internet
Some questions or concerns are lingering ones

Amazon, eBay or big e-commerce companies
They cannot spread all over the internet
Answering all questions and mapping them to products

You heard before that if you can answer
Your audience’s concerns according to their expectations
You will be able to build a tribe in the long term
While in the short term perhaps a quick sale

Requirements for making sales through affiliate marketing

Making sales through affiliate marketing is
Something you have to master its details
I recommend you read my blog post
Where I covered the concept of
Context – Authority – Trust (CAT)

    Go ahead and read below
How to Make Money With Affiliate Marketing?

What else does affiliate marketing require
Does it require a lot of traffic or tribe
Let’s discuss both traffic and tribe to see
How each one can help you to make money online

    2) Does traffic all you need for making money online?

Yes and No, I will explain the No later below but let’s discuss the Yes now
There are so many bloggers making money from traffic generating thousands of pageviews every month
What they do with that traffic

They apply for Ads network like Google Adsense
Which is free to join with no requirements at all
Only you must have a website and Google will manage to
Place Ads around your content and get paid if visitors click on the Ads on your blog

Challenge is 50 visitors per day
It will not make you significant money
    To generate 1000$ a month
Assuming each click earns you 50 cents
You need around 33$ a day

    If your click through rate
Which means the percentage of visitors
Who will click on your ads is 2%
    Then you need 33$ / 0.02 x 0.5
You need 3300 visitors per day

Don’t worry, life is not that bad
if you manager to get 3300 visitors a day
    That’s 99,000 visitors a month
    Then switch to Mediavine

They only require 25,000 to accept you
It is an ad network competing with Google Adsense
You will generate 4,000$ plus just from Mediavine

    Another ad network called AdThrive
Which can also generate decent income for you
You have to try both and see which one works best for you

I started with the Ad networks to prove that

What to write to your subscribers
Are your emails full of information/sales
You figure it out based on your open rate

Below I compiled a big list of blogging tips for beginners covering all aspects in your blogging journey

    1-Start with positive mindset

I covered before five things to develop or to work on
    They are as follows
Mindset, Why, Promise, Audience and Empire

    Quickly I will summarize them
MINDSET to start knowing that it is a Marathon
You are not writing some random articles and expect to make money online

WHY you are creating a blog for your Audience
    It is not for yourself
Yes your Audience know you want to make money from them
They need to read about solving their problems

Keep the WHY always on your mind and
You will be able to explain reasons for not seeing any result

    PROMISE comes after that
You have to promise yourself that
Every blog post, call to action or email you send
    Reflects your WHY

    Then with AUDIENCE
I know it is tricky as not all niches can have distinct characteristics for their audiences
But if they do like losing weight after pregnancy
You know here that you are targeting Women between 18 to 45
They are busy taking care of their newborn babies

Finally the EMPIRE, you build a successful blog that not going to lose profit overnight if Pinterest algorithm one day get changed or Google changes their algorithm

You can read all the details under under blogging skills

    2-Choose a niche you love

    To be precise
Choose a niche you love that is profitable

Niches to go with high confidence

    How to make money
    Health and Fitness
    Personal finance
    Beauty and fashion
    Relationships and personal development
Lifestyle (like survival, gardening, Women’s lifestyle..etc.)

You can read from other famous bloggers different opinions
They claim that they tackle niches they don’t love
    They make lot of money

    If you are starting up
Don’t waste your start up chance
Doing something you feel obliged to like
    The internet covers everything thoroughly

You can be an expert in any niche
If you read about it for 20 hours
    45 minutes for one month

    This does not mean that
You will get connected to it
That’s why I recommend to start with what you love

    3-Create a plan and strategy

When I first started in July 2018
I was not sure what is the purpose of my Blog
My initial plan was to write blog posts
Then get traffic to generate money from ADs and affiliate marketing

I realized later that this plan is tough but why it is very hard to for me
I cannot write blog post every day
So I will take very long time to get reasonable traffic to generate decent income

I learned later on the following
If I put my effort in creating my own product
I can create my first best product for topics which I know well about
I can get traffic from other affiliate promoting my product

My strategy which I live in
I create less blog posts but I make sure that my writings are covering my topic thoroughly

I always visit my old blog posts and see what I missed during that time
There must be a new value to add as we learn new things everyday

    4-Think about your audience

Imagine you get inside your visitor’s brain
    You understand how they feel
    Put yourself in his/her shoes
Add the image under Use AIDA

    Use what is called AIDA
Which stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action

You can read few details about it under Use Aida

    5-Pick a nice domain name

Good news is domain name does/will not affect your Google rankings
It doesn’t mean that you pick a completely irrelevant domain name
Choose a domain name that can reflect your brand
Stay away from abbreviations unless it is universal one e.g. SEO

    Make sure it is memorable
Easy to spell and dictates the purpose
    If you are still confused
    Search for competitors’ domains
Try to find if you can find different extensions

For example if .com is taken
Look for .net, .org, .co, .biz or
Add/Change a word in the domain
For example, if ParentalTips.com is taken
    I found MyParentalTips.com is available
At the time of writing this

6-Think about how to monetize your website

The way you plan ahead of
    How to monetize your website
It will dictate the work you must do
For example, if you plan for pay per click advertisement
You should look for writing blog posts on highly paid keywords per click
Your best bet is optimizing your website for SEO

If you plan to create your own product
Then you should start collecting emails to connect with your audience

If you plan to go with Affiliate marketing
I would suggest you read this Affiliate marketing reality vs illusion

Also you can read more details on how to monetize your blog

    7-WordPress is the solution

Why I chose this title, you can use any kind of CMS (Content Management System) to add menu for your pages and regular blog posts

Actually there are so many CMS that can do this job easier than WordPress in terms of installation and getting your website ready

The reasons I still want you to stick with WordPress are

    A) 34% of websites globally are built with WordPress
Which means a lot of support from WordPress users to help when you need it

    B) Great flexibility where I have never thought about any task where to find lot of plugins to do it for you

    C) A lot of WordPress development companies where you can find thousands of themes to choose from

    D) Open source where you can modify its code (last resort) to adapt your needs

    I recommend you read about
    Building your website from scratch

    8-Simple blogging design

I know I am addressing this blog post to individuals like you and me who work as a one man show
I expect you are the same

You need a simple blogging design
As you need to deliver your message or
Call to action to direct your visitors to do certain tasks

The idea is don’t create a magazine design with clutter design that confuses your users and leads to no action at all

Simplicity is the key to get best result

    9-Configure your WordPress

Definitely you need specific plugins to run your WordPress website smoothly

Few plugins are mandatory and must have like
Google Analytics to track your visitors like
Where they came from and which pages they visit

Security plugin like WordFence to protect your WordPress against any attacks
Performance plugin like W3 Total Cache
Backup plugin like UpdraftPlus to backup your WordPress regularly just in case

Another set of few plugins that is nice to have like Akismet which acts as Anti Spam plugin
Social media plugin to make it convenient for readers to share blog posts on Social media
    No self pings plugin

After you are done with your plugins
You have to start structuring your menu and add few pages

I recommend you read more details below
What to do with WordPress after installation

10-About, Contact and Start here pages

Actually you need to have the following pages
    Contact Me
    About Me
    Start Here
    Privacy Policy
    Disclaimer

Notice I used “me” instead of “us”
You try to be personal and avoid the corporate tone

I recommend to read the following
    Design your WordPress blog

I know you may have come to this blogging tip on the above link
I repeat it again because I want to tell you this is mandatory

Under WordPress, go to settings then Permalinks
Select custom structure and type %postname% in the custom field

Using Permalinks is the first step towards ranking your WordPress website on search engines

    12-Use responsive design

I didn’t believe my eyes when I checked Google Analytics
More than 75% of my users are coming from mobile devices

Always look for any WordPress premium theme that is Mobile friendly or Responsive design

Visitors will not stay on your WordPress website If you are not using a responsive design

    13-Keep regular backup

Don’t leave a single chance that one day
You will not be able to restore your blog from recent backup

Who knows you can be hacked for any reason
You can get a brute force attack and lose all your hard work

Plan for this scenario by using a WordPress backup plugin
The backup plugin can do it manually or automatic on a cloud
UpdraftPlus is considered one of the best plugins for backing up your WordPress

    14-Consider reputable theme

Although it is very easy to get nulled theme – premium theme that is modified to be free
I would suggest to stay away from them

Don’t be surprised, I knew it recently that nulled themes affect your SEO
It can be full of spam links where Google ranks websites lower in search engine if they contain a malicious contents

If you really like a theme, invest into buying a license
I would say most of them are one time payment

If you are still confused which company to buy your theme from
I recommend to go for either GeneratePress or StudioPress
Again it is up to you but I found that these are the top premium theme companies

    15-Don’t marry your WordPress theme

    You already bought a theme
Later on, you found a better one or you came across a theme that has excellent reviews

So what, you are not married to your theme
    Change your theme right away
The idea is, don’t be obsessed and waste time trying to find the perfect theme

There are lot of themes that look good on the demo
Then you get stuck when trying to modify them after purchase or
It happens that you buy a bloated theme too heavy to load

You see there are so many reasons to go flexible and move from theme to another if required

Just a recommendation to copy your widgets text or code to a notepad and save them on cloud like Google Drive or Dropbox
Most probably Widgets will not be converted
You have to recreate them on the new theme

    16-Website speed is crucial

Don’t be surprised if you don’t rank on search engines just because your WordPress site takes 8 seconds to load

Ideally you should target 2-5 seconds for your WordPress site to load

How do you measure your website load speed?
Well, Google has a nice tool called Google Pagesite speed test
Just put your homepage URL and it will analyze the speed for you with recommended steps to follow to speed up your WordPress loading time

A couple of actions I would like you to keep in mind

    A) Always keep your images to the minimum, I use a free desktop called irfanview
If you are using an image as a thumbnail, reduce it to the thumbnail size immediately

    B) Follow this step to reset all media size settings to zero

    C) If you have a seasonal plugins like cleaning database plugin or any other seasonal plugins
I recommend to deactivate them when not used and only activate them to do your tasks and deactivate them again

    D) Stay away from fancy fonts and keep it simple
Some Google fonts are downloaded every time you load your site

    E) You must use a CDN (Content Delivery Network)
Few web hosting like SiteGround integrates with a CDN and provides you with a WordPress plugin for best performance

    F) Stay away from bloated themes and those that come loaded with extra features like slider and carousel
Keep your theme simple to rank well on search engines

17-Look for the best web hosting

Although switching from one theme to another can be little bit intimidating for few users

Changing your web hosting can be challenging for everyone

I myself did not want to switch from my existing web hosting to SiteGround but I had to take this step

But what are the things that make your web hosting a best choice

    A) Great customer support, yes great like getting an agent on chat within a minute and wait time on the phone call is less than 2 minutes
Customer support resources are patient and willing to help

    B) Having fast, rock solid servers that improves your site when measured on Google PageSpeed

    C) Doing backup daily for you on their servers, this is an amazing feature which is hard to find in all web hosting
    SiteGround does that for you

    D) Offering free SSL to help you get https website

    E) Offering CDN (Content Distribution Network) or integrate with existing one like CloudFlare
SiteGround has its own SuperCacher and it integrates with the well known CloudFlare
Also offering a plugin to control your Caching on your WordPress website

    F) It comes with one click WordPress install where you get WordPress installed for you on your desired domain

I recommend to read why I changed my web hosting

    18-Always go for https

I didn’t know until recently that https is not optional from search engines’ perspectives
They do rank your site higher against any other website that is not https

Even if you are not carrying secure transactions on your WordPress still https is good thing to do on your website

Some web hosting companies offer a free https, so check to see if you have one

    19-Install necessary plugins

You have to resist the temptation that so many plugins are nice to have

In reality, few plugins are mandatory like
    A) Google Analytics, you cannot run WordPress site with tracking where your visitors are coming from and their activities

    B) Performance plugin like W3 Total cache, you can substitute it with SuperCacher plugin if you are hosting your WordPress on SiteGround

    C) Security plugin like WordFence to protect your WordPress against attacks also you get notifications of plugins incompatibility

    D) Backup plugin like UpdraftPlus but you can live without it if you are using SiteGround as it will create the backup for you for 30 days

Actually you can still use backup plugin to keep track of old WordPress copies

Also there are few nice to have listed above
under Configure your WordPress (add a link to item 8 above)

    20-Optimize your used images

I hope it is not too late knowing this
Google PageSpeed detects images that are really big in size where they slow down your WordPress loading time

Knowing that in advance can help you use desktop image optimization tool to reduce the size along with decreasing the quality

If you already uploaded some big images then I recommend to use ShortPixel to optimize images while they are already there

    21-Be creative with your contents

It is really hard to come up with how you can be creative
I consider this one to be one of the best blogging tips for beginners

At least if you target a keyword for your blog post
Make sure to write long, epic and informal blog post better than the top 10 that come up on the time of doing the search

Think about how to come up with attractive images and work more into adding videos especially for tutorials blog posts

    22-You have to love writing

This is what will stay forever as the primary task for blogging
Some blogging tasks starts and finish like installing and configuring WordPress
Some are seasonal like adding images – only when you finish your blog post

The only thing that stays is writing whatever a new blog post or ebook product idea

    23-Write in-depth blog post

Writing any blog post should not be limited to the topic
You should put yourself in reader’s shoes who is reading your blog post
Are you covering all the topics related to your subject

e.g. If you are taking about how to understand Google Analytics data
First you have to cover all the related topics based on your target audience

For example, how to create Google Analytics account – beginner’s level or
How to connect Google analytics to your WordPress site and so on

Make sure that your audience will not look for another websites to complete their readings

24-Read often, write more, be creative

    Without reading in your niche
It will be hard to come up with new ideas

    That’s the beauty of internet
People are building knowledge on top of existing one

You can find a topic in your niche that makes you feel uncomfortable to write it as is
So you convert it to simplified Infographics or whatever

Or you can hear a video on video channels where you see that it is not covered in depth as an article
You decide to write a new blog post about it

I think the more you read the more you will become creative

    25-Use conversational tone

Always use the “I, me, mine”
Make your writing looks like you are talking to someone
Asking questions then provide their answers

Remember you are not writing a professional book
You are writing articles that get viewed by everyone
    No need for difficult words

26-Divide your blog posts into small paragraphs

It took me a lot of practice to write 3 to 4 as a single paragraph
This is one of my best advice to you

I have seen so many bloggers writing in a very good style way better than me
Only one thing that intimidates me
Writing long lines without empty spaces

Look below and tell me what you think
Which one entices you to keep reading

    27-Comment on other blogs

You need to gain some backlinks
Best way to do this is to search for a blog post similar to a one you wrote before
Go and write your observations on this topic

You will get a backlink from your profile pointing to your homepage
This is not bad for a quick turnaround task

    28-Turn on comment moderation

Even if your are new to blogging
People will find you just to spam links in your comment section
Best way to avoid this is to turn manually moderate and check each comment
You approve what you think is not a spam

    29-Consider to apply basic SEO

I know there are tons of SEO courses that make this subject looks like it is complicated

May be but the basic of SEO is way simpler where anybody with no knowledge in internet or
computer background can still apply it and see results

    You have to just
    A) Include your keyword in your URL
    B) Shorten your URL reasonably
    C) Add your keyword in your title tag
    D) Make sure your title tag is less than 60 characters
    E) Use your keyword in H1, H2 and H3
    F) Use your keyword in the first paragraph – first 150 characters

    I recommend your read
    https://backlinko.com/seo-checklist

I would Consider this statement below a hypothetical one

Any great blog post in a very low/moderate competitive niches that is written better than all the top 10 searches on Google should rank without doing link building

You still need link building if you are writing in a high competitive niche

But how to find places where you can add links pointing to your website
I found Keysearch to be good fit as it allows me to test it with low payment for one month
You can cancel before the renewal

You can analyze the top list of sites which are ranking well and analyze what backlinks they are using to point to their websites

31-Build your email list from day one

Using email list with tools known as Autoreponders
It doesn’t require to learn great tactics to build one
So don’t refrain yourself from building one

Let me tell you that you are wrong
    If you don’t know it
There are subscribers who will never open your emails, no matter what
Build your list from day one and don’t be obsessed about your open rate

It should improve as you go on and try different methods
Some bloggers purge subscribers who never open their emails
Yes there is nothing wrong about this practice

    32-Give away your best knowledge

Some bloggers think that it is better to keep their best knowledge in their paid course or ebook

Ask yourself, how can your visitors open their wallet if they don’t really see some value in your writings

Even if your paid product is a compilation with tweaking of your free writings
So what be creative and add extra benefit or cutting edge to your products

    33-Include call to action

Every blog post you write should ask your reader at the end to take an action

If you want them to subscribe to your newsletter, you should say so
At certain point, some visitors will like what you wrote and they will follow your action

Technically if you have multiple newsletter based on your blog categories
You should ask your visitors to subscribe to the relevant newsletter at the end of each blog post

34-Use Google Analytics from day one

Do yourself a favor and invest sometime to understand the gigantic world of Google Analytics

With this free tool you can build a lot of decisions on how is your final audience characteristics

Based on that you can enhance your website to meet your audience expectations
This right approach will increase your visitors

    35-Use Google Webmaster

Both Google Webmaster and Google Analytics are free
If you are doing SEO by yourself
Then you need to view/read site messages
Google will update you with any issues

Actually you will receive an email with notification so you don’t have to log on to check for messages

    Again beside site messages
What is more important is being able to submit your sitemap and checking your crawling errors

Also viewing your site links, like who is linking to you

I recommend to read the full list here

36-Submit a sitemap for your website

Sitemap are not required but it is highly encouraged
I hope you understand this well

Even if you have a sitemap, Google will index each post that is not thin

Sitemap facilitates Google process of indexing your website

Yoast SEO plugin will help you do that
Then you can submit it manually to Google Webmaster

    37-Use Gravatar

Gravatar stands for Globally Recognized Avatar
If you create a Gravatar account then leave a comment with your email address on blogging platforms that support Gravatar like WordPress

You picture and profile will be pulled out automatically
I believe it is nice to see comments coming from profiles with pictures
    It provides credibility

    38-Focus only on one blog

I mean if you have more than two niches
You would like to write about
    For example parenting and blogging
You can combine both under one roof

If you are not professional then start with one blog only
Otherwise you will be distracted and lose your energy

    39-Build a sales funnel

There are so many courses about creating professional sales funnel

I am not an expert on telling you how to create a good sales funnel
All I can say is write blog post about a program
    Offer solutions to the problem
Add a call to action asking visitors to join your mailing list
Entice them with more solutions to their problem
Later on introduce them to your product or an affiliate product

It is as simple as that
The caveat here is to offer the best knowledge you have
    Don’t rush the sales and
When you promote the intended product
Make it look like it is a recommendation
    Don’t be nagging

    40-Build your own product

Building your own product has nothing to do with profit
Most of the affiliate non physical products like eBooks and eCourses offer up to 75% commissions
They do that because they want the traffic

Take it this way, if you create your own product like an eBook
    Reach out to top promoters
Not only you will make sales
Assuming your have attractive sales page
But you will also get backlinks to your website

This is one of the best way to make sales and get backlinks

    41-Avoid analysis paralysis

If you have a new idea of a blog post or for a new product
Start working on your product right away
You will find yourself juggling things around
Your thoughts will get properly formulated

This is better than sitting thinking about everything in your head
Doing that will lead to more procrastination

    42-Use social media

Using Social media has great impact on your traffic
If you are the kind of person who can manage growing your audience while working on your blog
Then I recommend you focus on Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter

At least create your profile on Social media
Give them some of your time every now and then

43-Use attractive titles for SEO and social media

It is not a surprise that People buy books because of its titles
So imagine the case for blog posts where it takes 5-10 minutes to read

Think about an attractive and enticing titles not for the sake of SEO
An attractive titles will help you not only in SEO but in your social media
Where people are hanging there waiting for you to grab their attention

To come with attractive titles use Hubspot blog idea generator or Portent title maker

    44-Focus on Pinterest

If you want traffic from day one then use Pinterest
Some bloggers rely on Pinterest as the only source for traffic
I don’t blame them for that

They know they get traffic drops every now and then
This is due to Pinterest algorithm update
With Pinterest you can get traffic right away
You don’t have to wait like in SEO

The amount of traffic is dictated by your followers number,
How creative you are with creating attractive pins
How many groups and boards you joined
Also if you are pinning manually or using a tool like Tailwind

The best way to revive old blog posts is to connect/refer to them from your new contents

Also if you have old blog posts that we’re missing contents and you created these contents later
Go and edit your old posts to link to the new contents
By doing that you still get visitors seeing your old contents and you keep things connected together

    46-Consider using contact forms

If you list your email on the contact us page
Some spamming tools use to scan websites like yours looking for emails to collect

Best way is to use contact form plugins like Contact form 7

47-Add more value to your old blog posts

If you have old blog posts that are not ranking on search engines
Go and check if you need to add more value to them

Sometimes when you read them again and search for the keywords used

You will find missing topics which you should have added them

That‘s the beauty of reading your niche for your own self knowledge

    48-Store your blog ideas

I am always thinking about ideas for my blog posts
I am not sure about you
These ideas don’t come to me when I am in front of my laptop
That’s why I decided to keep a tool handy

I found nothing better than Evernote  or Simplenote (open Google and search for Simplenote) to keep your ideas on cell phone
Whatever it is Android or iPhone

These sites you can open them on your laptop so you don’t need to transfer notes
Just write on your cell phone, go and open your notes from Laptop and everything up to date is there

    49-Don’t lie to your readers

I realized in internet marketing world
I got attracted to people having normal or average success

They explain their struggles and show you how difficult it was for them to start making money
I can tell now and I think you too by reading any success story if it is fake or genuine

You and me would love to read the real truth
It is really annoying to read

    50-Think about Guest posting

To be fair, I am not sure if this is considered a real advice

In fact, some bloggers managed to make money online without Guest Posting
Keep in mind that this is the only legitimate way to get backlink and readers moving from other bloggers and coming to yours

You sacrifice time into writing Guest posts but you gain solid traffic

    51-Create Infographics, images and videos

When I first started, I never thought one day that I will be able to create Infographics or video
Then I came to Canva and so I found it so easy to create Infographics with their list of ready made templates

You can create Infographics for blog posts like How to and step by step to so and so
    After you create your Infographics
Go back to your old blog post and add your best created Infographics there

Share all your newly created Infographics on Social media especially Pinterest

    52-Always set goals for yourself

Always set a short and long term goals
Without goals bloggers like us will get lost

Short term is to set a number of posts biweekly or per month
Remember if you set a very short term like a week
You may be discouraged for not achieving it

You then have to adjust your goals based on your performance
If you find yourself able to complete one long post per week
Then setting up 4 blog posts per month is realistic

If you manage your short term goals successfully
Then setting up your long term ones should be manageable

53-Don’t tell anyone about you blog

When you speak to people about your plan to start blogging
They hear about it and maybe they tried before
They know how challenging it is

Even if some of them did not even try or not interested
They will keep bugging you every now and then
    Asking you about your progress

Most of them they tell you
We told you that it is a waste of time
Do yourself a favor and study or
Take useful course for your career

    You will get discouraged quickly
All of that because you did not keep it for yourself

    54-Accept criticism/ask for it

Nobody will ever send you an email to criticize something
    When they visited your website

You have to ask for it
There are so many forums in your niche
Just go and sign up and ask for real reviews

I saw some bloggers offer incentives to get few people to read their eProduct and provide their reviews

Always be picky about who will review your work as you want people to carefully read and pick up the missed work

    55-Don’t give up

If you feel that you have done everything to the best of your ability
    Still see no significant luck
I would advise you to stay positive
This is number one best blogging tips for beginners

First check if you rely on affiliate marketing
Then consider thinking about creating your first product
You will be able to build back links and get other bloggers to do some sales for you

If you feel that you are not into making your own product
Then analyze your traffic, do you have any traffic coming from SEO
    Are you targeting buyers keywords
You can target informational keywords but these are keywords for visitors looking for information

Remember the cycle for any purchase process
    You start with

    A) Getting to know the term as known as keyword
    B) Reading more on the keyword
    C) Doing review on the keyword like searching for top best or the product + review
    D) Buying the product by searching for buy or buy cheap + product

If you are ranking on buy + product name and still no sales
Check the product itself, are you sure the company has no bad reviews
Are you targeting a reasonable price
May be there are competitors with cheap competitive price

    What I mean here
Relax don’t give up and you will be able to analyze what went wrong
